The ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ star’s BET Awards performance follows his surprise Coachella appearance in April

This Sunday, June 30, Oscar and Grammy-winning superstar Will Smith will light up the stage at the 2024 BET Awards by premiering a new song, marking his first solo release in over five years. The network has announced this exciting special performance, which will be hosted by the fabulous Taraji P. Henson.
Smith’s performance is one among many incredible acts lined up for this year’s BET Awards. The roster includes Ice Spice, Tyla, Victoria Monét, GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, and Shaboozey. Plus, the legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill will take the stage with her son, YG Marley, and country star Tanner Adell will perform on the BET Amplified stage. In 2017, he dropped an EDM single “Get Lit” but has since been relatively quiet on the music front with just a few collaborations with artists like Bad Bunny, Marc Anthony, and Joyner Lucas.
