“The Young and the Restless” star “Victor Newman” bad news

Today, we’d like to send our best wishes to Eric Braeden (Victor) of The Young and the Restless. The powerful soap opera veteran recently underwent knee replacement surgery, tweeted a photo from his hospital room, and a heartfelt message to his adoring fans.

“After knee replacement!” Braeden screamed the phrase, extending one arm to demonstrate his strength. “Right now, I’m thinking of you all!”

Fans flocked to Twitter to send him their best wishes, and one of them, Patty Tramel, told him to “keep moving.” According to friends who have had the therapy, the more active you are after surgery, the less scarring you will have and the faster you will heal.

“I’m hoping everything goes smoothly.” Sean Kanan (Deacon), his former co-star from “The Bold and the Beautiful,” also messaged him. He conveyed his best wishes to Eric for a rapid recovery and a pleasant holiday season. In no time, you’ll be back to being the total badass that you are.

And we do not doubt that he will! A knee replacement, the need for a walker, or even those purple hospital socks will not stop this man!

We wish the CBS actor a speedy recovery and can’t wait to see what his character has in store for Genoa City in 2023.
