The daughter of Lisa Marie Presley breaks the silence.

Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie Presley’s mother, confirmed her daughter’s death on January 12. “I am devastated to inform you that my lovely daughter Lisa Marie has passed away. “She was the fieriest, most powerful, and loving woman I’d ever met,” Priscilla told People.

“We seek discretion as we work through this heartbreaking loss.”

I am grateful for your prayers and kindness.” Lisa Marie died on the way to the hospital after suffering a heart attack.

Benjamin Keough was the kid of Lisa Marie’s first marriage to Danny Keough, who died tragically in 2020. Finley and Harper Lockwood were the twins of her fourth ex-husband, Michael Lockwood. Riley, in particular, has spoken up about growing up with a rock ‘n’ roll mother, but Lisa Marie’s children have yet to comment on her passing. But, as mother and daughter, how did they interact?

Riley Keough has acknowledged that despite hailing from one of the world’s most renowned families—after all, Lisa Marie Presley is Elvis Presley’s daughter—her mother made a point of not growing her into the spotlight. “I don’t want you to be just another famous Hollywood daughter,” she said. She had zero interest in such a manner of life. Riley said to Nylon in 2016 that she wasn’t paying attention. “It had appeared. We’d be photographed doing things, but I wasn’t 15 when I first read a tabloid.”

They appear to have remained close throughout Lisa Marie’s existence. Riley, who has been in films such as “Magic Mike,” “Mad Max: Fury Road,” and “Daisy Jones & The Six,” opened out to People just a few days before her mother died. “My mother has undoubtedly an effect on me,” she added of Lisa Marie, whom she called a “terrifically powerful, bright woman.” Riley also characterized her mother’s parenting approach, telling the publication, “I grew up with a person who pursued their way without much concern for what others would think. She was a source of inspiration for me.”

Lisa Marie Presley’s most outstanding achievement in life was becoming a mother. In 2004, she happily discussed her maternity experience with ABC News, telling them, “Everything is better when you have children.”

“Even if you’re an adult, they’re always there, so whatever they’re going through, you go through it with them,” she explained. “They serve as your anchor, compelling you to relinquish your individuality and focus exclusively on them, which is amazing. Oh, everything is wonderful.”

When Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” together in 2007, Lisa Marie Presley revealed how she always tried to shelter Riley Keough from the expectations of being a child of a celebrity. “I didn’t want her to have a that competitive and intimidating aura,” Lisa Marie explained. “I wanted [my children] to be allowed to do whatever they wanted,” she explained.

It’s no surprise that Lisa Marie has always been supportive of Riley’s work, even if the actress stated that, as the privileged kid of a well-known family, she had given Riley some tough advice. “You must work hard in whatever you do, or you won’t be taken seriously,” Lisa Marie allegedly told Riley.

Riley Keough was close friends with Lisa Marie Presley until her death. They exploit the final months of Lisa Marie’s career to promote the 2022 film “Elvis,” which stars Austin Butler as Lisa Marie’s famous father, Elvis Presley.

Lisa Marie discussed her late father and how the film respected his memory over multiple interviews while acting as close as they could. Riley was born in 1997, 12 years after Elvis died. “It was a very emotional [event]. “It simply brings back such generational trauma – in a good way,” Lisa Marie stated alongside Riley on “Positive Morning America.” Riley proclaimed, “I’m done,” after just five minutes. “I was bawling, and she was crying already.”

The Presleys then traveled to Hollywood for the film’s premiere, where Lisa Marie, Riley, Priscilla, Finley, and Harper Lockwood stood for photos alongside one another on the red carpet. Riley also posted adorable photographs from a Graceland premiere on Instagram, demonstrating how close this celebrity family truly is.
