Straight, Married Father-Of-Three Says He’s Been Wearing Skirts And Heels To Work For Years

Mark Brayan, a 61-year-old married father of three, has been turning heads by wearing skirts and heels for the past four years as a way to challenge gender norms.

The robotics engineer manager, based in Germany, has wowed social media audiences with his daily work outfits, amassing more than 73k followers. Mark’s unique style is his way of showing that straight, cisgender men can still be “masculine” while donning clothes and shoes traditionally labeled as feminine.

On his Instagram, he shares, “I am just a straight, happily married guy that loves Porsches, beautiful women, and incorporating high heels and skirts into my daily wardrobe.”

Despite the bold fashion choices, the father of three insists that his outfits don’t influence his sexuality. Instead, they are his way of being comfortable, fashion-forward, and challenging traditional gender norms.

In an interview with Metro.co.uk, Mark explained, “What drives me to dress in skirts is fashion, comfort, and the desire to stand out. I’m still the manly husband and father. My daughter even wants to borrow my shoes sometimes.”

He added, “When I first started wearing skirts, my coworkers were fine with it. They were already used to me wearing heels with pants, so it was no big surprise.”

Mark often showcases his coordinated work outfits, complete with matching skirts and heels. Even while working from home during the pandemic, he hasn’t given up his signature style.
