Ooey Gooey Bars

What You Need:

For the Crust:

Yellow Cake Mix: 1 Box (Dry – Not Prepared)

Butter: 8 tablespoons (melted)

Eggs: 1

For the Filling:

Cream Cheese: 8 ounces (Softened)

Eggs: 2 (beaten)

Powdered Sugar: 16 ounces

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the dry cake mix, melted butter, and one egg until everything is well combined.

3. Evenly press this mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking tray, setting it aside once done.

4. Next, take a large mixing bowl and beat the softened cream cheese until it is smooth.

5. Add in the beaten eggs and continue whisking for 1 to 2 minutes until the mixture is completely smooth.

6. Gradually add in the powdered sugar while continuing to whisk until everything is well blended.

7. Pour this filling over the crust layer in the baking tray.

8. Place the tray in the oven and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25-30 minutes or until the center is just set and the edges are slightly golden.

9. Remove the tray from the oven and let it cool completely before cutting into bars.
