Martina McBride and her husband, John McBride, are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters: Delaney, Emma, and their youngest, Ava.
Recently, Martina took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post celebrating Ava’s 19th birthday. In the post, she included two adorable photos: one black-and-white throwback and a more recent shot of them together at a restaurant.
The second image showcases just how much Ava looks like her mother. The two are close and their connection is evident.
In her touching message, Martina expressed her deep affection for Ava: “This girl turned 19 a few days ago. My girl. I love you Ava,” she wrote. “I love all the stuff we do together…all the kitchen hangs, the trips to the veggie stand, the talks, the laughs. How we are deeply connected in all the ways big and small. You are wonderfully made. ❤️.”
It’s clear that Martina treasures the bonds she’s formed with all her children. Besides Ava, she and John are also parents to Delaney, 29, and Emma, 26.
No matter how packed her schedule gets, family always comes first for Martina. She’s even passed on major TV and international touring gigs to ensure a stable, normal life for her kids. As she once said, she wouldn’t have had it any other way. “I got to have this amazing, exciting, fulfilling career, and I got to raise these human beings who are just the loves of my life,” she shared.
The McBride girls have also accompanied Martina on her journey through the music industry, including notable events like a 2012 appearance on CMA Country Christmas. During the pandemic, Martina’s podcast, Vocal Point With Martina McBride, featured the whole family in a 2020 episode, making it a special family affair.
Reflecting on her life and career, Martina once wrote on Instagram in 2023: “I am so blessed with these 3. They continue to enrich my life each day.”
