The family of four enjoyed a delightful evening together at the red carpet event held at California’s TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday, June 24.
Kevin Bacon turned the world premiere of MaXXXine into a fun family outing!
The 65-year-old actor was accompanied by his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, and their children, Travis, 35, and Sosie, 32, at the red carpet event held at California’s iconic theatre.
The much-anticipated horror film is the third and final installment in writer-director Ti West’s X franchise. It follows the successes of 2022’s X and Pearl. In MaXXXine, Bacon stars alongside Mia Goth, The Crown’s Elizabeth Debicki, The Idol’s Moses Sumney, Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito, singer Halsey, and Lily Collins.
For the event, Bacon sported a pale orange suit paired with a beige collared shirt, oversized sunglasses, and Aldo shoes. Kyra, his spouse of over three decades, looked stunning in a black leather mini dress and black sheer tights.
Their son Travis chose an all-black outfit, matching his mother, while Sosie opted for an eye-catching printed oversized tee with black cowboy boots.
An official logline reveals that MaXXXine is set in the 1980s and follows Maxine (played by Goth) as she seeks to become an actress in Los Angeles, facing a series of bloody challenges along the way.
“It’s the best script of the three by far. It’s going to be the best movie of the three,” Goth shared with Variety about the film. “It’s the biggest story, with the highest stakes, and Maxine has gone through so much by this point. So, when we find her in this new world, she’s truly a force to be reckoned with, embarking on some pretty wild adventures.”
It was no surprise to see Bacon’s family supporting him at the premiere.
Earlier this month, Sedgwick, 58, shared how she sees pieces of herself and her husband in their son, Travis.
“Oh my God, that’s a good question. For sure. I mean, I think he’s hungry and striving, and I think we were hungry and striving around that time,” Sedgwick reflected.
In March, on Sosie’s 32nd birthday, Kevin Bacon posted a hilarious side-by-side video of them dancing to PREP’s 2022 cover of Harry Styles’ “As It Was,” on Instagram, captioning it, “Happy birthday @sosiebacon. I’ll never stop dancing with ya, baby. ❤️”
