Patrick Mahomes is a regular parent just like all of us when it comes to patiently waiting for a toddler to finish a tantrum.
“From one dad job to the next dad job,” Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, captioned a pair of June 29 Instagram Story videos during their family vacation.
The first video shows Patrick, 28, capturing a sweet photo of their daughter Sterling, 3, in front of a stunning mountain backdrop. Shortly after, he is seen calmly watching as their 18-month-old, Bronze, has a meltdown on the sidewalk.
“Bronze throwing a fit on the ground,” Brittany, also 28, noted in her Instagram caption.
Patrick, sporting a gray tie-dye hoodie and shorts, stands behind Bronze, who is clearly upset. Demonstrating his dad skills, Patrick stays composed, taking a sip of beer while waiting for Bronze to settle down.
Brittany and Patrick are enjoying their summer holiday abroad. After soaking up the sun on a Portuguese beach, the family has now moved to a scenic mountain area, evident from their beautiful photos.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and Brittany have been together since their high school days, growing their family along the way.
“I think people don’t even realize how much she does,” Patrick praised his wife during a May appearance on the “Impaulsive” podcast. “She takes care of all the day-to-day stuff so I can focus on football and perfecting my craft.”
Continuing on, he shared, “[She’s] a Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, making things so much easier for me. Coming home to your best friend, just hanging out, it makes you want to be there all the time. She pushes me to be great and has accomplished so much herself.”
Patrick is currently on his NFL offseason, with his eighth year with the Chiefs beginning in August.
Brittany is one of Patrick’s biggest supporters, rarely missing a Chiefs game. Last season also brought Brittany closer to pop star Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
“Taylor and Brittany have bonded a lot over the past months,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in January. “They have a genuine friendship and really enjoy watching the games together, cheering on their men. Brittany loves that Taylor is dating Travis and supports their relationship. Their similar sense of humor keeps them laughing and joking around together.”
Swift, 34, often joined Brittany in a private suite at both home and away Chiefs games throughout the 2023-2024 season.
