The Lizzie McGuire alum, 36, has welcomed her fourth baby, her third with husband Matthew Koma, on Friday, May 3. She announced the happy news on Instagram Tuesday, sharing lovely photos from Little Plum Photography of her home water birth. In her post, the actress expressed her love and admiration for her new daughter in a heartfelt caption.

“Townes Meadow Bair 🧸, now we know why she made us wait so long… She was perfecting those cheeks!” Duff wrote. “I have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you, and smell you have been pure moments of magic.”

“We all love you like you’ve been here all along beauty. 5/3/24,” the proud mom added.

The couple shares daughters Mae James, 2½, and Banks Violet, 5, and co-parents Duff’s oldest, Luca Cruz, 11, with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie.

Duff had earlier revealed her pregnancy on Instagram in December 2023. The news was shared with their family’s Christmas card, which featured a picture of Duff cradling her baby bump.

“So much for silent nights. Love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew,” the card read on the front. The back side confirmed the joyful news with a playful note: “Buckle up Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch!”

In a 2021 interview, Duff shared how she embraced the “mayhem” of raising three kids. “I have help, but babies just want their mom,” she explained. “Even Luca is still like, ‘Mom, Mom, Mom.’ Mom cooks the thing the right way, and Mom packs the bag the right way. It’s crazy.”

The “Come Clean” singer expressed her deep love for all her children and the busy household they create. “I love when everyone’s full of energy and the house is buzzing. You never know what the day is going to bring or what your kid’s going to say,” she said. “We’re in the thick of it, and it feels good.”
