Heartfelt condolences for Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss

Following Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s untimely passing, celebrities from all around Hollywood have expressed their condolences. He committed suicide when he was 40 years old.

Allison Holker Boss, the former Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ’s wife, confirmed the news on Wednesday in a devastating statement.

“I had to announce my spouse Stephen has left us with the hardest of hearts,” Allison, 34, said of her husband. “Every room Stephen entered was filled with light. Above all, he valued his family, friends, and community.”

“He believed that leading with love and light was the best action. He was our family’s rock, the best husband and father, and an example to all who knew him. It would be an understatement to say he left a legacy, and his positive influence will live on. I’m sure there will never be a day when we don’t remember him.”

As word of the So You Think You Can Dance judge’s death spread, Hollywood’s A-listers sent their condolences.

In a statement, SYTYCD creator and judge Nigel Lythgoe said he was “heartbroken and grieved” and “at a loss to understand how someone as adored and inspirational to so many people as Stephen was would feel they are in such a dark place that they have no other choice than to take their life.”

“It’s inexplicable to me with Twitch,” he said. “He was always cheerful and smiling. He was admired by everyone he met. Today will be a sad day for the dance community, but my thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Allison, and their children. It is critical to acknowledge that mental illness is a serious condition that frequently goes unnoticed by our loved ones. While this is a joyful time of year for many of us, tension and bad feelings appear at an all-time high in other people.”

Tiffany Maher, another SYTYCD alum, stated, “My heart is crushed. Stephen “Twitch” was a good example. He was friendly and motivating. I’m glad I got to meet him. He will be remembered and missed for the rest of his life. Allison and their children are in our thoughts and prayers.”

“We will never forget Stephen “tWitch” Boss because of the happiness and excitement he brought into our lives and the lives of so many people,” Fox Entertainment, 19 Entertainment, and Dick Clark Productions stated in a statement. ” We mourn with his family, loved ones, and fans the passing of such a wonderful, unquestionable talent and personal friend. “You will be missed, ‘tWitch.’”

Dr. Tommie Tonea Stewart, Boss’ mentor, also said his demise. “Today, a talented man with a lovely heart and a slew of fans and lovers who adored him died. Anyone who encountered Stephen was immediately charmed by his infectious and genuine smile. Despite our regret at Stephen’s death, we will remember him for his contributions to the arts and in our hearts.”

Condolences also flooded in on social media. Ellen DeGeneres replied to the awful news with a remarkable statement and a photo of the couple hugging.

“I’m heartbroken. “tWitch was pure light and love.” She posted it on Instagram. “I just had love to give him since he was my family. He’ll be sorely missed. Please send your love and support to Allison and his three lovely children, Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.”

Michelle Obama, the former First Lady of the United States, uploaded an Instagram photo of Boss’s family with the statement, “I was heartbroken to learn of the passing of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, who I got to know over the years through my Let’s Move! Program and trips to The Ellen Show.”

“Stephen was a dynamic individual who made certain that everyone in his presence felt the warmth and enjoyment he exuded. Every dance, DJ set, and creative project he created was alive with his spirit. “My deepest sympathies go out to his wife, Allison, and their three children, Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia,” she added. “Please know that if you are in agony and need someone to talk to, you are never alone. Someone is always willing to assist. Dial 988 to reach the suicide and crisis hotline by phone or text.”

Jennifer Lopez shared multiple Instagram images with Boss, with whom she collaborated on the World of Dance. “Twitch has such a lovely and radiant soul. I was stunned and heartbroken. “Strength and love to @sir twitch alot, his wife, and their children,” she added.
