The boy’s proud mom shared the video of his graduation to TikTok, thanking flight attendants for the surprise
Frontier flight attendants came together to give a kindergartner a memory he’ll never forget after learning he missed his graduation ceremony.
The boy, named Xavier, can be seen beaming in a video posted to TikTok by his mom in May. He’s wearing a full red cap and gown outfit in the aisle of the plane as a flight attendant makes an announcement to passengers.
The crew member began by announcing a “very special occasion” on the flight. “We would like your help in celebrating Xavier…., who is missing his Kindergarten graduation today. And because he chose to fly Frontier instead, we’re giving him his graduation ceremony on this flight.”
Xavier then proceeded to walk down the aisle of the plane as “Pomp and Circumstance” played over the intercom and fellow passengers gave him high-fives, applauded, and cheered.
After taking his walk down the aisle, Xavier proudly posed with flight attendants and the pilots of the plane.
“Thank you to Frontier Airlines for making my son’s kindergarten graduation unforgettable,”
It’s unclear where the family was flying to, but the trip definitely got off to a memorable start!
The scene was far from the first time a flight attendant has gone the extra mile to help passengers celebrate special occasions.
In April, it was the Southwest Airlines flight crew who helped bride-to-be Bri Kunkle start off her Bachelorette festivities in Texas with advice she’ll never forget.
Flight attendants came on the loudspeaker and asked her fellow married passengers to write advice they wish they knew before their nuptials on napkins passed out by the crew.
“It was so sweet. I received almost 50 napkins back, so it was heartwarming,” Kunkle, 27, said of her mid-flight memory.
