The actor and comedian was joined by his daughters Bria, Shayne Audra, and Bella at the ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ world premiere in Los Angeles on June 20.
Eddie Murphy had the support of his family at the Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F world premiere.
On Thursday, June 20, the actor and comedian, 63, was joined by his daughters Bria, 34, Shayne Audra, 29, and Bella, 22 — whom he shares with his ex-wife Nicole, 56 — as well as his fiancée Paige Butcher, 44, on the red carpet.
Bria, who makes a cameo in the film, and Shayne Audra matched in green at the star-studded event, which was held at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. Meanwhile, Bella opted for a classic little black dress, with Paige looking red hot in a strapless scarlet midi.
Eddie, who is a father of 10, opted for a dark T-shirt and black jacket, which he teamed with matching pants and sunglasses.
Also in attendance at the premiere were supporting cast members Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kevin Bacon, Judge Reinhold, and Paul Reiser.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is the fourth installment in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise and follows Murphy’s Detroit detective Axel Foley returning to Beverly Hills to prevent a plot against his daughter Jane’s (Taylour Paige) life.
The Foleys join up with friends old and new to expose the conspiracy, including Billy Rosewood (Reinhold) and Taggart (John Ashton), as well as new partner Det. Bobby Abbott (Gordon-Levitt).
The film is the first new sequel in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise since Beverly Hills Cop III was released three decades ago.
Earlier this month, Eddie spoke about his experience working with his daughter and son-in-law Michael Xavier on the film during an interview with Al Roker on the Today show, recounting how Michael tased him for one scene in the movie.
“She’s the one who arrests me,” Eddie said of Bria’s cameo in the film, adding, “In the other scene when I get arrested in the movie, that’s my son-in-law tasing me in the neck.”
Michael and Bria wed in 2022 in Beverly Hills, with proud father Eddie slow-dancing with the bride to Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely.”
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F releases on Netflix on July 3.
