Guillermina and Fernando Garcia’s deepest desire of becoming parents became a reality with the help of fertility drugs. However, their joy was accompanied by concern when bruises started appearing on Guillermina’s belly. After an ultrasound, the astonishing truth was revealed – Guillermina was carrying not just one, but five precious babies!

The news overwhelmed Guillermina with excitement, overpowering any fear or worry she may have had. All she wanted was to ensure the safety and well-being of her little ones. And finally, at 31-and-a-half weeks, a remarkable medical team of 40 delivered the Garcia family’s five beautiful babies at the University of Utah hospital. Within a span of just two minutes, Esmeralda, Fatima, Marissa, Fernando, and Jordan were born, three girls and two boys.

“It feels like we’re living in a dream,” exclaimed Fernando Garcia, astounded by their newfound parenthood. “Having five little angels is incredible!” The doctors provided reassurance, stating that the babies were expected to thrive and grow up healthy and strong.
