Have you ever wondered what happens after we pass away? The incredible story of Valerie Paters, a woman who was all but declared dead but miraculously lived, will make you ponder the possibilities of an afterlife.
In March of 2020, Valerie’s life took a devastating turn when her car was smashed by a semi-truck. The impact was so severe that first responders at the scene believed she wouldn’t survive. Even at the hospital, her family received a grim prognosis and were told that Valerie showed no signs of cerebral activity. It seemed like there was little hope.
But Valerie’s sister, Cheryl, never gave up. She turned to the power of prayer, asking God to give her sister the strength to pull through. Drawing inspiration from Psalm 118:17, which says, “I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done,” Cheryl held onto her faith.
And then, something extraordinary happened. Valerie, while her loved ones waited anxiously for her recovery, claimed to have visited Heaven. She described it as a place filled with blinding light, and to her amazement, it was Jesus himself who greeted her with a warm smile.
“I felt such overwhelming love from Him,” Valerie shared. “It was as if I had finally come home… like I had finally found where I truly belonged.”
Valerie’s encounter with Jesus left everyone astonished. She emphasized that His love for her was not based on anything she had done, but simply because of who she was. It was a love beyond comprehension.
But even in Heaven, Valerie was given a special message. Jesus instructed her to return to Earth, to deliver a powerful testimony of her experience. And so, here she is, sharing her remarkable journey with all of us.
