The singer and actress will also star in the brand’s 2024 Holiday campaign.
Ariana Grande has landed an exciting new role.
The 31-year-old singer and actress is now the ambassador and new face of Swarovski, kicking off her journey with the brand’s 2024 holiday campaign.
“I am thrilled to be Swarovski’s Brand Ambassador. It’s an honor to represent a House that shares my passion for creativity, pushes the boundaries beyond the world of jewelry and promotes values of unapologetic self-expression. I cannot wait to embark on this journey and to inspire others to embrace their own unique sparkle,” Grande said in a press release.
According to Swarovski’s global creative director, Giovanna Engelbert, “Ariana’s charisma and positive energy resonate with Swarovski’s essence of bringing joy to the world.”
Engelbert also added, “Ariana is a brilliant artist whose creativity shines through her songwriting and vocal performances as well as her personal style. I look forward to engaging in inspiring creative dialogues together.”
This announcement comes during an already notable year for Grande. In March, she released her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine. Songs like “We Can’t Be Friends” and “yes, and?” have topped various music charts, marking just the beginning of this album’s cycle according to the Grammy winner.
Grande is also set to appear as Glinda in the highly anticipated Wicked movie, co-starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. The musical adaptation is slated to hit theaters on November 22nd.
In a two-part conversation on the Podcrushed podcast, Grande reflected on her relationship with her Wicked co-star, Cynthia Erivo. “I was a different person before befriending Erivo on the set,” Grande expressed. “I hope we learned a lot from each other, but I learned so much as a person from her. And she loves hard. She is a Capricorn, and she loves hard and honestly and right.”
She continued, “There’s something baked into these roles where you’re so different from one another that you never know how it can go when you’re sharing this experience in a very big way.”
