Queen Camilla Turns 77! Kate Middleton, Prince William and King Charles Share Sweet Tributes

“Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very Happy Birthday today!” the Royal Family wrote on X as Camilla marked her special day.

Queen Camilla is celebrating her 77th birthday!

On Wednesday, July 17, King Charles and Buckingham Palace led the tributes to the Queen on her special day by sharing a sweet photo of the royal posing on a balcony during their trip to the isle of Guernsey the day before.

“๐ŸŽ‚ Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very Happy Birthday today!” the Royal Family’s X (formerly known as Twitter) account wrote alongside the photo of Camilla wearing a royal blue dress.

The Royal Family account then shared another photo on its Instagram Stories of Camilla smiling, as well as posting a cute clip of her being serenaded by students from Sark School.

The youngsters sang to the Queen in Serquaise, which is the island’s patois, per the BBC.

“Birthday celebrations started early in Guernsey yesterday…” the Royal Family’s account captioned the Instagram Stories clip.

Kate Middleton and Prince William also sent Camilla some birthday wishes on their Instagram Stories. “Wishing Her Majesty a very Happy Birthday,” they wrote alongside a photo of Camilla posing in a pale blue dress and cardigan, holding a basket of flowers.

The photo was taken by Princess Kate for Camilla’s cover of British magazine Country Life in 2022, showing her relaxing in the garden of her home Raymill in Wiltshire.

Upon their arrival in Guernsey on Tuesday, King Charles thanked well-wishers while reflecting on their last visit to the Bailiwick of Guernsey back in 2012, per the BBC.

“We were fortunate to meet so many islanders on that occasion and to see so clearly the great regard and affection for her late Majesty,” the King shared.

“We are delighted to be able to return once again and we look forward to meeting more people from the wonderful islands,” he added.

The King and Queen received a warm welcome during their two-day trip to the Channel Islands, which also saw them visit the isle of Jersey on Monday, July 15.

During the Guernsey trip, the couple took time to meet some of the people who came out to see them, and Charles even got a kiss on the cheek from Kathleen Moriarty, 91.

Moriarty could be seen placing her hand on the monarch’s shoulder when he approached them in a clip shared on X by the BBC. After they exchanged a few words, Moriarty leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.

She said in the BBC clip, “I says to him, ‘Please can I give you a kiss?’ And he give me his cheek.”

“I just did it! I didn’t plan it, and I enjoyed it. He’s lovely. It was very nice. I am pleased,” she added.

“I thought if all these young dolly birds can do it, this old lady can!” the royal fan joked.
