Channing Tatum Reveals Taylor Swift Made Him Homemade Pop-Tarts, Calls Her an ‘Unstoppable Force’

Channing Tatum recently shared an inside look at what it’s like to transform from being a fan of Taylor Swift’s music to calling her a friend.

On the latest episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Tatum, 44, opened up about his experience attending one of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows in Los Angeles, which took place on Thursday, July 11.

“I’ve always been a fan of her music because I’ve listened to her songs for years, but I hadn’t realized she was such a dynamic, unstoppable force,” Tatum said. “I kind of know her on a personal level, and she’s really just normal and sweet.”

Tatum mentioned that Swift, 34, is an exceptional host, always making guests feel at home. He added, “She’ll cook dinner for you without a hitch. She made homemade Pop-Tarts, warm Pop-Tarts. I was like, ‘Did you just make these? How are they warm?’”

Speaking more about their friendship, Tatum applauded Swift’s dedication to her career. “You get to see her perform on stage for over three hours — I’d challenge any champion triathlete to do what she does on stage,” he exclaimed. “I became an even bigger fan afterward.”

Calling Swift both “cool” and “extremely smart,” Tatum then shifted the conversation to his relationship with fiancée Zoë Kravitz. Fallon touched on their engagement, prompting Tatum to express his excitement about their future together. “Thank you for that. I’m incredibly happy. It’s hard to put into words,” Tatum marveled. “She’s so special. To wake up every day and create with someone is just amazing.”

Fallon pointed out that Kravitz is “super cool and super fun,” to which Tatum humorously replied, “Yeah, she’s not that cool … No, she’s actually annoyingly cool. It’s a bit of a problem.”

Kravitz and Tatum have been candid about their relationship since they began dating in 2021. Sparks flew after they worked together on Kravitz’s directorial debut, Blink Twice. Their relationship was confirmed in August 2021 following several public displays of affection.

Before meeting Kravitz, Tatum was married to Jenna Dewan from 2009 to 2018, finalizing their divorce in 2019. The former couple continues to co-parent their 11-year-old daughter, Everly.

Tatum previously mentioned he had no plans of remarrying. In a January 2023 interview with Vanity Fair, he explained, “Relationships are challenging for me, even though I am somewhat of a monogamist. In business, I have no fear of anything falling apart. But when it comes to the people I love, things of the heart are hard for me. I often end up trying too hard.”

Kravitz, on her part, tied the knot with Karl Glusman in May 2019, but the marriage ended less than two years later.

Sources have suggested that Tatum and Kravitz might consider expanding their family in the future. “Having a baby is a very real possibility,” an insider shared in June 2023. “But they’re enjoying taking things slow for now.”
