Matthew Broderick Has Family Night Out with His and Sarah Jessica Parker’s Kids in N.Y.C.

The ‘Sex and the City’ actress didn’t join her family for their outing at the opening night of ‘Oh, Mary!’ on Broadway on July 11

It’s a family night out for Matthew Broderick and his kids!

On Thursday, July 11, Broderick, 62, attended the Oh, Mary! Broadway opening night at the Lyceum Theatre in New York City, where he was joined by his and Sarah Jessica Parker’s children; Son James Wilkie, 21, and twin daughters Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell, 15.

Parker, 59, who has been busy filming the Sex and the City spinoff And Just Like That…, wasn’t in attendance.

For Thursday’s outing, James wore a black suit and tie that he teamed with a white shirt, while Tabitha opted for a black dress and Marion added a splash of color in a patterned floral design.

Meanwhile, Matthew wore a maroon-colored plaid blazer jacket, which he teamed with a white shirt, blue tie, and brown pants.

Oh, Mary! runs through Sept. 15, and “is a dark comedy starring Cole Escola as a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination,” per the Broadway website.

“Unrequited yearning, alcoholism and suppressed desires abound in this one act play that finally examines the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs. Lincoln through the lens of an idiot,” the description adds.

The Broderick family outing comes after Parker shared a sweet post on Instagram to celebrate the twins’ 15th birthday on June 23.

The actress posted a photo of pink birthday balloons, writing in the caption, “2 divine 15 year olds. We are so lucky and we love you so. Happy birthday to our dearest Loretta and Tabitha.”

“Celebrating you both today was pure joy. X, Mama,” she added.

Last July, Parker opened up about parenthood and the importance of teaching their kids about the value of money.

She said during an appearance on iHeartRadio’s Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi podcast, “You want your children to understand what it means to earn money, what it takes to earn money, the value of it. They [should know] the expectations will be the same for them.”

At the time, the star explained that she agreed with Dolly Parton’s philosophy of taking care of a child’s needs, but not all of their wants.

“I think it’s a great way of living for children, that their needs are met — to be fed, safe and loved. The important things in life: books and food and interesting experiences, and they’re warm in the winter and cool in summer,” she said.

“But they should pine for things, they should want things. And we should also be interested in, how do they contribute to the things, at a certain point?” she shared.
