Nicole Kidman Reveals the Movie Costume She Wishes She’d Kept Because It Was ‘So Beautiful’

“I keep nothing. But I do keep all my couture dresses,” Kidman confessed

Nicole Kidman doesn’t keep any mementos from movie sets — and she has regrets about that!

In Vogue’s interview series “Off the Cuff,” Kidman, 57, told her A Family Affair costar Joey King that there is a specific costume she wore in 2001’s Moulin Rouge that she still wishes she’d taken.

“I wish I kept the pink feathers from Moulin Rouge, ’cause they’re so beautiful,” the actress said of one of the outfits she wore as night club star Satine in the movie.

Kidman rocked the two-piece look, which featured a fitted embellished bustier and pink feathered train, during one of Satine’s performances. It was selected by the film’s co-costume designers Catherine Martin and Angus Strathie.

The Practical Magic star told King, 24, that she also regretted not keeping the glasses her character Alice Harford wore in the 1999 thriller Eyes Wide Shut in which she starred alongside her ex-husband Tom Cruise.

“I keep nothing,” Kidman admitted, before adding, “But I do keep all my couture dresses.”

One of her most recent red carpet looks that might be in her closet is the floor-length strapless nude Gucci gown with a middle thigh-high slit that she wore to the premiere of A Family Affair alongside King and their costar Zac Efron.

Kidman paired the dress with a gold chocker necklace for a subtle yet dramatic effect.
