Dozens and Dozens of Kennedys Gather for ‘Annual Family Reunion’ – See Video from the Epic July 4th Gathering

The Kennedy family had a lot to celebrate on the Fourth of July!
Kerry Kennedy posted a video of her family members singing “Happy Birthday” to Instagram on Friday, July 5. She explained in the caption that the video was recorded the day before, at an annual Kennedy family reunion that serves multiple purposes.
“Our annual family reunion celebrating my older sister Kathleen, younger brother Chris, and our beloved country, all born on the Fourth of July!!!” Kerry, 64, wrote.
Someone can be heard on the video off-camera trying to get the crowd of Kennedys to sing to Kathleen Kennedy — who turned 71 on the holiday.
Kerry’s younger brother Chris Kennedy also had a birthday on July 4, turning 61.
Beyond footage of the birthday wishes, Kerry’s Instagram Stories included a video of Kennedy family members playing games outdoors.
Grainy footage makes identifying every Kennedy who attended the gathering difficult, but Robert “Bobby” F. Kennedy Jr., who is running for president as an independent candidate, did not appear to be present.
On July 4, RFK Jr. shared footage on Instagram of himself catching and releasing a rattlesnake while his wife and Curb Your Enthusiasm actress Cheryl Hines looked on and commented from a distance.
The presidential hopeful, 70, also shared photos of his supporters holding campaign signs to his Instagram Stories on July 4 in support of him and his running-mate, Nicole Shanahan.
RFK Jr. is a controversial independent candidate among the Kennedys, who have long been affiliated with the Democratic party.
Many of RFK Jr.’s siblings endorsed Joe Biden for president and joined him at a campaign event in April.
Kerry has devoted her life to carrying on her late father Robert Kennedy’s political legacy. She is the head of RFK Human Rights, an advocacy organization, and made it clear in a 2023 statement that the organization doesn’t support her brother’s political beliefs.
“Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is a nonprofit organization grounded in the legacy and transformative leadership of my father,” the statement issued after RFK Jr. announced his bid for president last year.
“We hold governments accountable, engage businesses to align with human rights norms and train the next generation of leaders to become human rights defenders in their own right,” she continued.
The activist continued her statement by addressing her relationship with her brother: “I love my brother Bobby, but I do not share or endorse his opinions on many issues, including the COVID pandemic, vaccinations, and the role of social media platforms in policing false information. It is also important to note that Bobby’s views are not reflected in or influence the mission or work of our organization.”
RFK Jr. was also the subject of a Vanity Fair article published on Tuesday, July 2, in which Eliza Cooney, a former employee of the politician, claimed he made inappropriate advances towards her 26 years ago.
The presidential hopeful was asked about allegations on the YouTube political show Breaking Points where he said he’s “not going to comment” on them and called the article “a lot of garbage.”
