Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard Is Pregnant, Expecting 1st Baby

There’s exciting news from the Summer House! Lindsay Hubbard is expecting her first baby, revealing the happy news less than a year after splitting from Carl Radke.

“Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!! 💥💥💥,” the 37-year-old joyfully shared on Instagram on Thursday, July 4. “I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it! 💫The second I had a feeling, I took a @clearblue Early Digital Pregnancy Test and getting a clear result, in words, made the next steps sooo much easier. My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!!”

The announcement came with several heartwarming photos of Hubbard’s baby bump and ultrasound images. However, she hasn’t disclosed the name of the baby’s father yet.

Comments from friends and fans poured in, with Ariana Madix exclaiming, “lindsay!!!!! omg congratulations! ❤️❤️,” while Whitney Rose from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City added, “Screaming over here!!! Congrats momma!”

Since her split from Radke, Hubbard has kept her romantic life private. The pair had been engaged but ended their relationship three months before their planned wedding in August 2023.

Reflecting on the Past

“I was completely blindsided,” Hubbard told Us Weekly in November, recounting how Radke’s decision to end their relationship after two years left her shattered. “He blew up my entire life. I was crying, I was angry, and I had to find closure on my own. Now I’m at a place where I feel really good about moving on.”

Despite the heartache, Hubbard remains hopeful about love. “I have a very big heart; I’m not going to shut myself off from somebody else who would appreciate it,” she said. “[And] in the last month, all I could think was thank God I froze my eggs.”

Hubbard has openly shared her fertility journey. In 2022, she disclosed suffering a miscarriage while dating Jason Cameron. (They met on Winter House season 1 in 2021 but parted ways that summer.) This experience led her to freeze her eggs to ensure she could have children when the time felt right.

A Mother’s Dream

During her engagement to Radke, Hubbard expressed her desires to start a family. “If we have kids, I’m gonna want to stay at home and raise the kids,” she said on Summer House season 8, which aired in April and was filmed before their split. “I need to know that I have a partner [who] is doing anything to bring in any kind of money. I need that security.”

She reiterated her wish to become a mother in the April 25 episode of the Bravo series: “I know I want to be a mom and I want to have your children.”

Radke was taken aback by Hubbard’s wish to be a stay-at-home mom, as he shared on the show with friend Kyle Cooke, expressing how he had always viewed Hubbard as an independent and career-focused woman.

The couple parted ways shortly after filming the season, and both have remained tight-lipped about their current dating lives since then.

What’s Next for Lindsay and Carl?

In February, Radke mentioned that he hadn’t started dating again. On the other hand, there were rumors in November 2023 about Hubbard possibly dating country singer Dustin Lynch. An insider confirmed to Us Weekly that the two are just friends and not in a romantic relationship.

Hubbard has a clear vision of what she wants in her future partner, describing her ideal match as “somebody ambitious,” emotionally intelligent, someone who makes her laugh, can be intimate with her, and allows her to be herself.

Looking Forward

The road hasn’t been easy for Hubbard, but her enthusiasm for what lies ahead is evident. She seems ready to embrace parenthood and all the joys that come with it. With her positive mindset and a supportive circle of friends cheering her on, Lindsay Hubbard’s future looks bright and full of promise.
