Taylor Swift Brings Out Paramore’s Hayley Williams for Surprise Duet at 2nd Eras Tour Show in London

Taylor Swift continues to surprise and delight her fans!

On a memorable Saturday night, Swift thrilled her audience at the second Eras Tour show in London by bringing out a very special guest—Paramore’s Hayley Williams. Together, they performed the emotional “Castles Crumbling” from Swift’s Speak Now album, leaving fans in awe. The duo, who have been friends since their early career days, previously performed together in London back in 2011.

In videos shared by enthusiastic fans at Wembley Stadium, Swift, 34, is seen seated at a piano alongside Williams, 35, delivering a heartfelt acoustic rendition of the track. The surprise guest appearance was a part of the tour’s special surprise song segment, which has become a highlight for concertgoers.

Before Williams took the stage, Swift heightened the anticipation by hinting at a special guest.

“While re-recording my albums, I reached out to artists who influenced me greatly and are dear to my heart. For the Speak Now album, I connected with such artists, and one of them agreed to join me for a song. London, we are very fortunate tonight because when I asked Hayley Williams, she said yes,” Swift announced, igniting cheers from the crowd.

That night, Swift also treated fans to the first-ever live performance of “thanK you aIMee” from the Tortured Poets Department, which she mixed with the song “Mean” from her Speak Now album. Adding a personal touch, Swift tweaked the lyrics of “Mean” to “Someday, I’ll be singing this song in Wembley,” much to the delight of the audience.

Adding to the excitement, Swift’s boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce was spotted enjoying the show from a VIP tent with his brother Jason and Jason’s wife Kylie. This marked the couple’s first public appearance at one of Swift’s performances, and they returned the following night for more musical magic.

Swift’s UK tour dates have all been smashing successes, including a sold-out show in Cardiff, Wales. Overwhelmed by the enthusiastic Welsh crowd, she took to Instagram to express her gratitude: “Cardiff!! My first time playing in Wales and it was beyond amazing. Looking out at that massive, bouncing crowd, I’ll never forget it. I’m absolutely loving these UK crowds!”

Earlier in the tour, on June 13, Swift celebrated her 100th show in Liverpool, England. She shared this milestone with her fans, hinting at how special the occasion was for her.

“A lot of you have been asking how I’ll celebrate the 100th show,” Swift told the Liverpool crowd. “For me, this celebration means acknowledging to myself that this tour will end in December. It feels so far away but also so close because of how much fun we’ve had together.”

She went on to admit how the tour has consumed her life: “It’s taken over everything. I think I used to have hobbies, but now all I do when I’m not on stage is come up with clever acoustic song mashups.”

After wrapping up her performances in London on June 23, Swift is set to head to Ireland for more shows. She’ll make a return to London’s Wembley Stadium on August 15 for five additional performances, continuing to captivate her international fans.
