A heartbreaking incident has sent waves of sadness through Hurricane, Utah. Authorities have confirmed the tragic passing of 4-year-old Kache Wallis, a boy who mysteriously vanished from his home after being tucked into bed one evening. Sadly, he was found lifeless inside a small toy chest in his bedroom. The Utah Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that the cause of death was “positional asphyxiation.”

The devastating series of events began when Kache’s grandmother woke up and made the alarming discovery that the little boy was not in his bed. Deeply worried for his safety, she immediately called the authorities. Police officers swiftly arrived and conducted an extensive search of the house but could not find Kache in the initial search.

As concern for Kache’s safety grew and the hours ticked by, a missing child alert was issued. This spurred the local community into action, joining forces with law enforcement in a determined effort to find the missing boy.

Unfortunately, during a later and more thorough search of the home, Kache’s body was located inside a small toy chest in his bedroom. This tragic discovery heightened the investigation, leading to detailed interviews with family members and close cooperation with the medical examiner’s office.
