Lopez was spotted on a boat in Italy amid marital strain with husband Ben Affleck
Jennifer Lopez, the talented singer and star of the movie Atlas, was recently seen enjoying a solo vacation in Italy. Lopez was spotted aboard a boat, soaking up the sun and showcasing her toned abs in a cream-colored bandeau top paired with multicolored shorts and gold peep-toe heels. She accessorized her look with a Christian Dior Hat Basket Bag and gold sunglasses.
Lopez was seen spending time with several other individuals on the boat, but her husband, Ben Affleck, was notably absent. This solo outing comes amid reported marital strain with Affleck. A source said that Lopez has plans to travel this summer but is also taking time to be with her children, family, and close friends. Live Nation had earlier announced that she canceled her planned concert tour for similar reasons.
Amidst this, Lopez and Affleck are quietly trying to sell their $61 million Beverly Hills home bought together in 2023. Currently, Lopez lives at the house while Affleck is staying a few miles away at a rental property. However, the pair reportedly sees each other every few days and have remained friendly. They were recently spotted together at a family event celebrating Affleck’s son, Samuel’s, 12th graduation, alongside Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
Even amid the alleged marital tensions, Lopez took to Instagram to post a heartfelt Father’s Day message in honor of Affleck, calling him a “hero.” Lopez shares her 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck has three children, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel with Garner, 52.
Lopez has had a history of grand summer vacations, often spent in picturesque locales. Previously, she and Affleck have enjoyed vacations in France and Italy, including their 2022 honeymoon in Milan and Lake Como, and a birthday trip to the celeb-favorite island of Capri. Despite stating that she’s not a “big vacation person,” Lopez has expressed her love for Italy, particularly enjoying her time in the southern part of the country during the summers.
During a 2023 interview with Travel + Leisure, Lopez shared, “When I finally went to spend a couple of summers in a row in the south of Italy, I really, really loved it.”
