Police have launched an urgent search for three children who went missing after a day out at Thorpe Park.

Khandi, 14, Amelia, nine, and Malik, seven, were reported missing just after 7pm yesterday (17 June) after a day out at the popular amusement park in Chertsey, Surrey.

The children were last week walking away from Thorpe Park towards Staines town centre at 3.17pm.

It is believed that they may have travelled to London.

Surrey Police confirmed that a search is now underway, saying in a press release: “We are appealing for help in finding three missing children, who were last seen earlier yesterday evening (17 June).

“Officers are currently out searching for Khandi, 14, Amelia, 9, and Malik, 7, who were reported missing just after 7pm after a day out at Thorpe Park in #Chertsey.”

The force shared detailed descriptions of each of the youngsters and what they were wearing when they were last seen, continuing: “Khandi is described as female, Black, 160cm tall, of a slim build and was wearing black or grey jogging bottoms, a white top, white trainers, black framed glasses, and multiple bracelets on each wrist.”

The two youngest children are related, with Amelia described as ‘female, European, 110cm tall, of a slim build’ and wearing grey jogging bottoms, a grey long-sleeved top with ‘Believe’ written on it and white trainers.

Malik is described as ‘male, European, 110cm tall, of a slim build’ and was last seen wearing ‘black jogging bottoms, black trainers, and a green long-sleeved top with stripes’.

Appealing to the public, Surrey Police added: “If you have seen these three children, or have any information as to their whereabouts, please contact us quoting PR/45240068376.”
