Lip reader reveals what Princess Charlotte said to younger brother Louis as he stole show at King’s birthday parade

Watch out, world – Prince Louis is at it again! The youngest member of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s brood once more captured everyone’s attention at the grand Trooping the Colour parade for King Charles III’s birthday.

This occasion was particularly poignant as it marked Kate Middleton’s first royal engagement following her brave announcement about battling cancer earlier this year. Despite the heavy-hearted update she shared with the nation on Friday evening, the Princess of Wales stood tall alongside Prince William and their three charming kids at Buckingham Palace.

Prince Louis Once Again Stole the Show

Forget the regal proceedings and grand military displays – if there’s one thing to count on during royal events, it’s that Prince Louis will bring the entertainment. We’ve all seen his previous antics: from plugging his ears at the late Queen’s jubilee to waving exuberantly at his granddad’s coronation. This time around, Louis was back at it with his hilarious facial expressions, much to everyone’s delight.

Who needs pomp and circumstance when you have a six-year-old who’s totally living his best life in front of hundreds of thousands of spectators? Ah, the joys of parenting a little show-stealer!

During this year’s Trooping the Colour, the young prince, along with his siblings – Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9 – stood on the iconic balcony of Buckingham Palace, eagerly awaiting the annual RAF flyover. They also made a grand entrance with mom Kate in a horse-drawn carriage down the Mall.

Plane Excitement

Imagine being a six-year-old with front-row seats to an epic flyover. Prince Louis couldn’t contain his excitement as he gazed at the red, white, and blue smoke trailing from the jets. According to lip reader Gaby Lane, Louis turned to his dad, enthusiastically exclaiming, “Papa, Papa, Papa, look at all that colour!”

Aww, isn’t that just the sweetest thing? Naturally, Kate was all smiles as she explained to her very curious son that the planes had ‘dispersed.’ It’s moments like these that you’d rather frame than photograph!

Sweet Sibling Moment

It wasn’t just his parents who got a dose of Louis’ boundless enthusiasm. Throughout Trooping the Colour, the little prince was also seen having a few sibling moments with Charlotte. It’s no secret that Charlotte plays the role of his slightly older and much wiser sister. Ever the proper royal, Charlotte reportedly told Louis to ‘put your hands down’ during the National Anthem.

You know things are serious when your sister, who’s only three years your senior, has to remind you to behave in front of the entire nation!

Charlotte’s Orders

When it comes to royal events, Charlotte seems to know when enough is enough. As the Scottish Guards marched to Highland Laddie, Louis added his own beat by dancing along. Charlotte, ever the responsible one, was less than thrilled. Lip reader Nicola Hickling shared that Charlotte firmly told Louis, “You have to stop doing that. Watch the parade.”

Classic sibling interaction, right? Louis, unbothered by the reprimand, simply replied, “I won’t.” To which Charlotte doubled down, insisting, “Do as you’re told.” Naturally, in true Louis fashion, he responded with a defiant “Nope.”

Chatting to Mum

It wasn’t all rule-breaking and eye-rolling for Louis. He also had an adorably candid moment with Kate during their grand ride down the Mall. Clearly taken aback by the throngs of people gathered, he pointed out the crowds to Kate. According to Lane, he called out, “Look over there, Ma,” making sure she too shared in his astonishment. Kate’s doting reply? “Right, look at that,” accompanied by one of her trademark warm smiles.

Kids truly see the wonder in everything, and Louis’ childlike wonder is certainly a highlight that warms hearts far and wide.

So, what did we learn from Louis’ antics this time around? Well, if anything, we got a delightful reminder that even amid the grandiosity and formality of royal duties, it’s the little moments of genuine emotion and child-like joy that resonate the most with us all. And so, bravo Prince Louis, for keeping it real and royally entertaining!
