Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who you might remember as Lily from ‘Modern Family,’ is all grown up! The actress, who starred in the show from 2011 to 2020, recently celebrated an exciting milestone – her prom. Can you believe she’s already 16 and will be turning 17 on June 6?
To mark the occasion, Aubrey dressed up in a stunning black halter dress and shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram on June 1. If you haven’t seen them yet, you’re in for a treat.
First off, she posted a fun video of her transformation. The video starts with Aubrey in a casual black T-shirt and jean shorts. As she shows off her prom dress to the camera, we get to see her make a chic transformation, complete with her hair down and looking quite elegant.
In another clip, she poses next to her prom date, sporting a big smile and a lovely white corsage on her wrist. Her date matched her elegance in an all-black suit with a boutonniere that complemented Aubrey’s corsage perfectly.
And if that’s not adorable enough, she shared a solo shot of herself in the floor-length black gown, captioned “Prom pt.1.” This post was even liked by her TV dad, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who played Mitchell on ‘Modern Family.’
Speaking of Jesse Tyler Ferguson, it’s heartwarming to know that he and Aubrey still keep in touch. He recently attended her high school play alongside Julie Bowen, who played his sister, Claire, on the show. The mini-reunion happened in March when they saw Aubrey perform in her school musical, ‘The Theory of Relativity.’ Jesse shared his excitement on Instagram, saying, “Took my sis to see the kiddo in her school musical. So proud of you @aubreyandersonemmons!”
It seems like just yesterday that Aubrey was the little girl on ‘Modern Family.’ Now she’s making wonderful memories at her prom and continuing to shine off-screen just as she did on it.
