Kellie Pickler’s Nashville Home Where She Lived with Husband Kyle Jacobs Sells for $2.3 Million 15 Months After His Death

The home was first listed for $3 million in November 2023, nearly nine months after Jacobs died by suicide at age 49.

Kellie Pickler has officially let go of the longtime Nashville home she once shared with her late husband, Kyle Jacobs.

The Tudor-style home first hit the market for $2.89 million in November 2023. Pickler listed the property nearly nine months after Jacobs died in February 2023 at 49 years old.

Property records confirm that the home was first purchased in January 2010, just a year before the country singer, 37, married Jacobs. It features four bedrooms and four full bathrooms spread across 4,865 square feet.

The home was sold for $2.3 million by listing agent Sarah Kilgore of Pilkerton Realtors, according to their official website. It was first listed by Gary Ashton of The Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Advantage in November 2023.

Inside, the home boasts a living room with a two-story fireplace, an eat-in kitchen with a center island, a wine cellar, and a media room.

Among the home’s many amenities are a three-car garage, a front porch with a seating area, a screened-in porch beside the pool, and a spacious backyard.

The American Idol alumnus and Jacobs began dating in 2008 and wed in a surprise ceremony three years later.

Following Jacobs’ death, Pickler shared her thoughts in August. She said, “One of the most beautiful lessons my husband taught me was in a moment of crisis, if you don’t know what to do, ‘do nothing, just be still.’ I have chosen to heed his advice.”

She continued, “Thank you to my family, friends, and supporters, for the countless letters, calls, and messages that you have sent my way. It has truly touched my soul and it’s helping me get through the darkest time in my life. As many of you have told me, you are all in my prayers.”

She added that an intimate memorial service was being planned for Jacobs in the fall as “that is what Kyle would have wanted.” In September, a “Celebration of Life” service was held at Franklin First UMC in Franklin, Tennessee, where hundreds gathered to pay their respects.

In April, Pickler returned to the stage for the first time since Jacobs’ passing at Walkin’ After Midnight: The Music of Patsy Cline at the Ryman Auditorium. Onstage, she shared, “I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was incredibly nervous right now. It’s the first time I’ve been up on stage in a while.” She lovingly added, “I know he is here with us tonight.”
