Josh Duhamel Celebrates Wife Audra Mari on Her First Mother’s Day: ‘Beyond Blessed to Have You in Our Lives’
The actor and his wife share son Shepherd, 4 months, while Duhamel shares son Axl, 10, with ex Fergie

Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari are enjoying their first Mother’s Day with their baby son Shepherd.
On Sunday, May 12, the 51-year-old actor celebrated his wife, 30, by posting a heartwarming selfie on his Instagram Stories. Smiling together in the photo, Duhamel took a moment to express his admiration for his wife.
“Here’s to you my love on your first Mother’s Day. What an amazing mommy you are to our baby Shepherd and Axl couldn’t ask for a better stepmother,” Duhamel wrote.
“We’re beyond blessed to have you in our lives. And to all the mothers out there, thank you for holding it down and for raising us up. Happy Mother’s Day.”
Duhamel and Mari are parents to 4-month-old son Shepherd. Duhamel is also father to his 10-year-old son Axl, whom he shares with ex Fergie.
On Easter this year, Mari shared a touching video on her Instagram Stories of her and Shepherd. Shepherd was dressed in an adorable yellow knit outfit. “Easter baby,” she captioned the video.
Before welcoming Shepherd in January, Duhamel shared how his son Axl reacted sweetly to the news of becoming a big brother. “He’s like, ‘Wait, now, am I going to be — You’re still going to love me, though, too, right?’” Duhamel shared in an interview with Parade.
“I was like, ‘Of course, I’m going to still love you.’ And he’s like, ‘I’m still going to be your firstborn son, though, right?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, you’re still the firstborn son!’” the Shotgun Wedding actor added.
“He’s a really sweet kid. And he loves babies!” said Duhamel. “I was the same way at his age. I just have always loved babies. There’s something about them. And he’s really good with younger kids. So I think he’s going to be a great older brother.”
In October, Duhamel scored some ‘dad points’ after meeting soccer legend David Beckham. Sharing a photo where he posed with the soccer star on Instagram, Duhamel explained the special moment.
“This was just too good not to share. Thank you @davidbeckham for making me look cool to my son. You’re a good man,” he captioned the shot.
His Instagram also featured a video showing Axl’s enthusiastic reaction to the photo. “Dad, that’s so cool! You met David Beckham!” Axl exclaimed in a video message to his dad. “Oh my gosh, that’s so cool. I wish I could meet him.”
