For soon-to-be parents, taking photos of the expectant mother’s baby bump is a delightful way to capture the joy and anticipation of starting a new family. These maternity pictures serve as a cherished reminder of the time just before their beloved child arrived.
Dan Mozer, a 30-year-old dad-to-be, came up with a brilliant idea. He suggested that he and his wife, Angelina, venture to Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, Florida to take some pictures. This popular beach spot is adored by locals for its tranquil atmosphere and scenic beauty.
Filled with excitement, they set off for the beach. Once they arrived, Dan couldn’t contain his inspiration and asked Angelina to pose for some pictures with the breathtaking ocean as their backdrop. With a beaming smile, Angelina proudly displayed her baby bump. Little did they know, their photo session would become an unforgettable moment.
Behind Angelina’s radiant figure, something magical happened. Just as Dan clicked the shutter, a dolphin gracefully leaped out of the water! It was an unexpected surprise, yet Dan had always been aware of the dolphins in the area. However, he never imagined he would capture one jumping in the background of a picture of his pregnant wife.
“When I took the photo, I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’” Dan exclaimed. Unfortunately, Angelina completely missed the incredible display. Dan later joked, “Our son, Courtland, must have summoned the dolphin from his mother’s belly.”
Dan further explained how this amazing picture unfolded. As they were taking photos, someone alerted them to the presence of dolphins, and they spotted the dorsal fins. Then, out of nowhere, one of the dolphins leaped out of the water not once, but twice! Dan admitted he liked the first jump picture the most.
Although Courtland seems to have a special connection with dolphins, Dan and Angelina have no plans to change their son’s name to “Dolph Finn,” despite some playful suggestions. This incredible photo will forever serve as a reminder of the extraordinary moment they shared at Atlantic Beach.
