The actress, who plays a stay-at-home mother who believes she is turning into a dog, appeared to be worlds away from red-carpet glamour in a billowing striped shirt and loose slacks.
On Tuesday, she was seen filming sequences for the film in Los Angeles, and she didn’t appear to be wearing any makeup.
In addition, the actress paired her ensemble with brown Birkenstocks.
She had to act out a scene where she struck her co-star Scoot McNairy across the face while filming.
The actress from American Hustle did not appear upset when she hit her fellow cast member, but she appeared to have a look of regret.
They were observed standing across from one other and holding hands as the cameras rolled.
Amy appeared happier as she knelt on the ground, placed her hands on her knees, and smiled pleasantly.
Nightb***h also stars Ella Thomas and Garrett C. Phillips in addition to Amy.
The plot revolves around “a suburban housewife thrust into the stay-at-home routine of raising a child,” according to Variety.
“As she embraces the wild power deeply embedded in motherhood, she becomes increasingly conscious of the weird and undeniable signals that she may be turning into a dog,” the book says.
While Amy is not working on films, she and her husband, Darren Le Gallo, are raising their 12-year-old daughter Aviana.
Amy’s latest appearance comes after her former American Hustle co-star Christian Bale said that he worked as a “mediator” between Adams and David O. Russell on the stormy set of the 2013 crime comedy American Hustle.
According to an email hacked from Sony that leaked online a few years ago, David “abused” Amy to the point where Christian had to interfere. She has now admitted that she felt “devastated” for “much” of the time she was on the picture set.
‘If I can get a feel of where it’s coming from, then I tend to try to be a mediator,’ Christian added. Amy and her director had a falling out, and Christian stepped in.
“That’s simply how I am; I can’t help but think, “Hey, what are you waiting for? “Let’s go find a seat and chat about this.” There had to be a way to get this thing to work.”
