In 1983, Patricia Clarke found out she was pregnant and had a feeling that her baby was going to be on the larger side. Little did she know just how massive her child would turn out to be. When Kevin Robert Clark was born, he weighed over 16 pounds! He made history as the biggest baby ever born at Community Memorial Hospital and possibly the largest baby in the state of New Jersey. But Kevin’s size wasn’t the only thing that made headlines, his incredible growth did too!
As Kevin grew, he quickly outgrew most things. He couldn’t even fit into a standard-sized crib or wear baby clothes meant for his age. Despite his size, Kevin was perfectly healthy, which was a relief to his parents. News of Kevin’s size spread rapidly and he became a national sensation. He made appearances on “Saturday Night Live” and was even mentioned on “Good Morning America”.
Kevin’s growth didn’t stop there. By the time he was 12 years old, he already stood at a towering 5 foot 7 inches. When he reached junior high, he reached an astonishing height of 6 foot 5 inches. And he didn’t stop there. Today, at 35 years old, Kevin stands tall at 6 feet 9 inches! He embraces his stature with a sense of humor, jokingly telling people that he’s “5-foot-21” and asking if they play miniature golf when they ask if he plays basketball.
Kevin has learned to live with his extraordinary height and has found happiness in life. He is a former military man and now lives with his 6-foot-tall wife and their Great Dane. Kevin’s story is truly remarkable, and he continues to captivate people with his incredible journey.
