North West, the 10-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, is proving that she’s wise beyond her years. On a recent episode of The Kardashians, North took the opportunity to critique the fashion choices of celebrities attending the Met Gala. No one was safe from her brutally honest opinions, not even Pete Davidson, who once dated her mom.
Yung Miami was the first victim of North’s fashion police. While she complimented the rapper’s looks, she accused her of “copying” Kardashian by wearing pearls to the event. And another unknown celebrity didn’t escape North’s scrutiny for wearing blue.
As North watched the red carpet on TV, she couldn’t understand why someone would choose to wear blue. “You want to stand out and everything, but blue?!” she exclaimed. And when it came to Jared Leto’s eccentric cat costume, both North and her cousin Penelope Disick had no mercy, describing it as “cringe.”
But the harshest criticism was reserved for Pete Davidson. North didn’t hold back, declaring, “Hate it! Hate it!” She reminded him that he was going to the Met Gala, not the gas station, making it clear that his bucket hat and glasses were not up to her standards.
However, not all celebrity looks were torn apart by North. She couldn’t help but praise Paris Hilton, a longtime friend of her mother. According to North, Paris Hilton is the best, and she’s known her mom for what seems like forever. And of course, she also had kind words for her mom, as well as her aunts Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
It’s clear that North West isn’t afraid to share her opinions, displaying a level of brutal honesty that she most likely inherited from her father, Kanye West. She takes joy in rating people’s outfits and providing critiques, earning her the title of the new Joan Rivers, according to Kim Kardashian. While it stings a little when her daughter tears into her own looks, Kim knows not to take it too seriously. After all, it’s hard to argue with a 10-year-old fashion critic.
North West’s fashion commentary proves that age is just a number. With her wit and keen eye for style, she might very well be the future face of fashion. We can’t wait to see what she has in store when she attends the Met Gala herself in 2024.
