“Friends” actor Lisa Kudrow is claiming she believes prescription medicine is how her co-star, Matthew Perry, passed suddenly while in the hot tub.

The 60-year-old actress is also reportedly planning on adopting Perry’s dog following his terrible demise.

A source close to Lisa Kudrow is going out on her behalf, alleging that she feels her “Friends” co-star may have died owing to his meds.

“Although no one wants to believe it was medication – prescribed or not – of course that is a thought in their minds,” a source close to Kudrow told DailyMail.com.

“They are thinking he must have taken something that did not mix with the warm water,” according to the report.

It is vital to highlight that drowning was supposedly the cause of death, however, but this has not yet been certified by the coroner’s office. An autopsy has been conducted, and toxicology findings will reveal more information regarding Perry’s death.

The actor struggled with addiction for a long time, but, it wasn’t until his memoir that he fully opened up and let down his defenses.

“[I was] at the height of my highest point in ‘Friends’, the highest point in my career, the iconic moment on the iconic show,” the actor was promoting his memoir last year. “When you’re a drug addict, it’s all math. I wasn’t doing it to feel high or to feel wonderful. I obviously wasn’t a partyer; I simply wanted to sit on my couch, take five Vicodin, and watch a movie. That was nirvana for me. It no longer is.”

Perry said he had been clean for 18 months at the time, claiming, “I’ve probably spent $9 million or something trying to get sober.”

Drowning has been named as the most likely cause of death, however this has yet to be proven. An autopsy has been scheduled to answer more questions about Perry’s death.
