John Ashton, known for his iconic role in the Beverly Hills Cop movies, has left the stage for the final time. But the role that would define his career came in 1984 when he starred opposite Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop. Playing the tough but lovable Sgt. He leaves behind a grandson, Henry, and his siblings Sharon Ann Ashton, Linda Jean Ashton, and Edward Richard Ashton. Ashton was preceded in death by his parents.
