In a video made public on Tuesday, several women from Cleveland informed former CNN host Don Lemon of their plans to vote for ex-President Trump over current Vice President Kamala Harris.

Lemon shared this video on his X account, where he conversed with six Cleveland women of different races. Among them, only one woman, who mentioned she does not usually vote, did not favor Trump.

One woman passionately said, “I’m voting for Trump. It feels like whenever they don’t want a good candidate to succeed, they present someone Black to sway our votes.” She continued, “Gas prices were lower and food was more affordable when Trump was president. That’s why I’m choosing Trump over Harris, who was with Biden’s team.”

Another woman revealed, “I voted for Obama because he was Black. But I won’t vote for someone just because they’re the first Black woman running for president.” She added, “I support Trump because I now vote for who suits me as a person, not based on their race or gender.”

Another voice echoed similar sentiments, saying, “I’m supporting Trump because he brought positive changes. I’m sorry if it offends anyone, but it’s my choice.”

Lemon asked why she felt sorry. The woman explained, “I know many dislike him, but we had better days under Trump.”

A fourth woman highlighted the change in her perspective, sharing, “I was once against Trump while living in Virginia. But after moving to Cleveland, I saw another side.”
