Kevin O’Leary’s Warnings: How Kamala Harris Might Decimate America

O’Leary’s Take on Harris – A National Concern

Kevin O’Leary: Harris advisers see ‘no reason’ for her to talk to the press yet

O’Leary Ventures chairman Kevin O’Leary joins ‘The Evening Edit’ to discuss how President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris could handle a recession.

Oh, the market! The economy feels like it’s on a rollercoaster without seat belts, and our dear Kevin O’Leary—affectionately known as Mr. Wonderful, bless his heart—decides to dive into how a Democratic ticket, with Kamala Harris at the helm, might just crash this ride. Don’t you just love the optimism?

Here’s O’Leary, a little less like your friendly financial advisor, more like an oracle of doom: “Even the most bearish economists right now don’t see more than a 50/50 [recession] chance. So I’m still in the soft landing camp. But, policy is now becoming a risk with investors,” O’Leary pontificated to “The Evening Edit” on a fine Monday. Don’t you just love it when someone wraps their pessimism in a ‘soft landing camp’?

“After August 7, when the happy days are over, then there’s risk,” he declares. Oh, joy!

Kevin O’Leary details how he would fire the secret service chief

What a ray of sunshine! A jobs report as weak as decaf coffee, declining manufacturing, and tech giants forecasting doom – oh, how delightful! Last week wasn’t kind to Nasdaq 100 and Nasdaq Composite, both taking a nosedive as if they were learning to fly for the first time. And here comes Kevin, reminding us just how grim things could get.

Since President Joe Biden decided one term of this joyous ride was enough, O’Leary has mingled with political fortune-tellers from both sides, assessing their economic voodoo spells. Apparently, Harris’s team believes that the magic of not talking to the press—at least for now—is the way to go. They’re in a “happy phase,” O’Leary says, counting all those campaign funds and waiting for the next big cheer when she picks a running mate. Oh, the suspense!

‘The Five’: Trump calls Wall Street slump ‘Kamala Crash’

‘The Five’ co-hosts highlight how former President Trump mocked Vice President Kamala Harris amid recession fears.

Meanwhile, Harris unveiled Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her partner-in-joy. But, Kevin, always the bearer of good news, warns that unless they steer towards moderation, we might be in for quite the show.

Remember that “sunny ways” slogan from Justin Trudeau? The one that led to his landslide win and then to Canada’s grumbling? O’Leary recalls it vividly, blessing us with this nugget of wisdom: “Go back up to Canada years ago when Justin Trudeau never gave any policy, never gave any press interviews, and he just kept telling everybody, ‘Don’t worry, it’s sunny ways.’ And he got elected with a landslide. And boy, was that a mistake for Canadians,” he said.

Mohamed El-Erian: An emergency rate cut would be a huge mistake

Allianz Chief Economic Advisor Mohamed El-Erian reveals why the Federal Reserve should cut rates in September on ‘The Claman Countdown.’

The real question Kevin poses is, can Harris execute anything other than a press conference? Is she our Trudeau doppelganger? O’Leary seems to think so and warns us in just the most optimistic manner possible.
