The actress opted for a chic, non-maternity look in a trendy polka dot dress as she attended the famous London tennis tournament on Friday, July 12, with her husband Tom Ackerley.
Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley enjoyed a lovely date day at Wimbledon!
On Friday, July 12, the couple, who are expecting their first baby together, were seen with big smiles, holding hands while attending the twelfth day of the prestigious tennis tournament at the All England Club.
Robbie, who is 34 years old, made her first public appearance since the pregnancy news broke. She showcased her growing baby bump in a stylish black and white polka dot dress.
The Barbie star’s outfit featured a unique shawl-like left sleeve and an asymmetrical skirt. She completed her look with a black and white bowling-style bag and paired her dress with open-toe black mules for extra height.
Robbie added a pair of rectangular sunglasses to her look and let her blonde hair flow in loose waves around her shoulders.
Meanwhile, dad-to-be Ackerley, who is also 34, donned salmon-colored pants paired with a cream tennis T-shirt that he left open at the top. He finished off his look with white sneakers and sunglasses and was seen carrying a khaki jacket.
The couple was later spotted sharing a tender kiss while taking in the action from their seats on Centre Court as they watched the first semi-final of the day between Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev.
The actress’ day out comes after it was reported earlier this month that she and Ackerley are expecting their first baby together, with multiple sources confirming the news.
Robbie and Ackerley first met in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama Suite Française, where he was an assistant director and she starred as Celine Joseph. The couple then married in December 2016 in a private ceremony in Australia’s Byron Bay. They had kept their engagement a secret prior to their big day.
While speaking to The Sunday Times last month, Ackerley praised his wife of seven years, with whom he works on their production company, LuckyChap.
“It’s seamless,” the British film producer shared when asked how they manage to separate business from their personal life. “We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing.”
Ackerley also joked that he feels like an “honorary Aussie” while Robbie feels like an “honorary Brit,” and that they only argue over whether Tim Tams or Penguins are the better snack, referencing popular treats from their respective home countries.
He quipped that he wished there was more of a sporting rivalry between Australia and England.
