Prince William Surprises with Prince George at Euro Final After Kate and Charlotte’s Wimbledon Appearance!

The Prince of Wales brought Prince George to Germany for the final round of the tournament

Prince William brought a special guest to the highly anticipated UEFA European Championship final: his son Prince George!

On July 14, the Prince of Wales appeared at the Olympiastadion Berlin in Germany alongside his 10-year-old son for the last game of the tournament between England and Spain. William, being the President of the Football Association, has always shown his unwavering support for soccer in England.

The father-son outing came just hours after Kate Middleton and daughter Princess Charlotte attended the men’s singles final at Wimbledon in London. While Kate’s presence was anticipated, 9-year-old Charlotte’s appearance was a delightful surprise. They were also joined by Kate’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton, making the occasion even more special.

The stakes were high at the soccer finals, as the UEFA European Championship is a monumental event held every four years. Though the match ended with a 2-1 victory for Spain, England’s effort was commendable. Ahead of the match, William shared his encouragement on X: “We are so proud of you all @england, just one last push to finish the job! Go out there and show the world what you’re made of. We believe. W.”

William also shared behind-the-scenes video of the father and son walking into the stadium.

Even after the game concluded unfavorably for England, William took a moment to share his pride and support for the team on X: “This time it just wasn’t meant to be. We’re all still so proud of you. Onwards @England. W.”

King Charles also sympathized with the team, expressing in a heartfelt statement: “Although victory may have eluded you this evening, nevertheless my wife and I join all my family in urging you and your support team to hold your heads high… But please know that your success in reaching the European Championship final is a really great achievement in itself, and one that brings with it the pride of a nation which will continue to roar for the Three Lions today – and in the many triumphs which I have no doubt lie ahead.”

Prince William’s recent visit marked his third trip to Germany since the games began on June 14. Earlier, he witnessed England’s matches against Denmark and Switzerland, radiating immense support for Team England, famously known as the Three Lions.

While William wasn’t present for the semifinals between England and the Netherlands on July 10, he celebrated England’s thrilling last-minute victory on social media. Ollie Watkins scored the winning goal, sending England into the finals against Spain.

His excitement was palpable on X: “What a beauty, Ollie! Congratulations England! #EUROn2024 Finalists 🎉. W”

In another commendation, King Charles praised the team, adding a humorous touch by hoping to avoid last-minute drama in future matches: “If I may encourage you to secure victory before the need for any last minute wonder-goals or another penalties drama, I am sure the stresses on the nation’s collective heart rate and blood pressure would be greatly alleviated! Good luck, England. Charles R”

Amidst cheering for their favorite teams, both Prince William and the King continue to find solace in soccer during their personal battles with health challenges. “He has been hugely buoyed by the results of Aston Villa,” a close source shared. “You shouldn’t overlook the importance of soccer in these moments.”
