The 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom California home was listed days after the couple spent the Fourth of July holiday apart.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s Beverly Hills mansion has hit the market after they spent the recent Fourth of July holiday apart on opposite coasts.
The 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom California home was publicly listed on Thursday, July 11 — nearly one month after a source revealed that Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, were set on selling the property.
The couple, who have been married since 2022, purchased the 38,000-square-foot estate in May 2023 for $60,805,000.
The home has been carefully renovated with top-quality materials and features a bar, sports lounge, fully equipped gym, boxing ring, and courts for basketball and pickleball, as noted in its listing.
According to celebrity real estate agent Josh Altman, who is not involved with the sale, high-profile sales often attract curiosity seekers. Altman explained, “There’s always going to be people who pretend to be potential buyers because they just get a kick out of seeing a house or touring a house, or they want to see a famous person’s house.”
Altman added that access to such properties is typically very restricted to ensure only serious and highly qualified buyers can view them.
Meanwhile, reports in May suggested that the couple had started living separately. An insider disclosed that Affleck moved his belongings out of the mansion in June while Lopez was on a European getaway.
Currently, Ben continues to reside at a rental in Brentwood. “He’s been there for about two months now. He seems OK,” said the insider. “He’s been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his kids.”
The decision to publicly list the home came just after the couple spent the Fourth of July holiday apart. Affleck remained in Los Angeles, while Lopez celebrated in the Hamptons.
