The Hollywood premiere of the iconic teen film was such a late ’90s moment

The year was 1999, the stars were rising and everyone was wondering what really happened at band camp.

American Pie premiered 25 years ago on July 9, bringing together a cast of of-the-moment teen stars plus comedy legends Eugene Levy and Jennifer Coolidge and some hilarious plot points.

The film’s red carpet premiere was a sight to behold, too, full of the film’s stars in their glory plus celebs like Charlize Theron and Jessica Biel … and a young Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, before they ever got together.
