“Yep, still got it!” the Spice Girls singer joked on Instagram as the couple re-wore their 1999 reception looks.
David and Victoria Beckham are taking a trip down memory lane for their 25th anniversary!
The couple, who got married on July 4, 1999, surprised fans on Instagram by wearing the purple Antonio Berardi outfits from their 1999 reception in a brand new photo shoot.
On the Fourth of July, Victoria, 50, joked about the pair still managing to squeeze into those famous outfits. “Yep, still got it! 🤣 Can’t believe it’s been 25 years and they still fit! 💜💍” she wrote, sharing multiple photos from the shoot on Instagram.
“We love you so much xxxx,” she added, tagging their kids Brooklyn Beckham, 25, Romeo Beckham, 21, Cruz Beckham, 19, and Harper Beckham, 12.
“Still making me laugh after all these years! @davidbeckham xx,” the fashion designer wrote alongside a picture of them giggling together on her Instagram Stories.
“So here I am in my Antonio Berardi wedding dress after 25 years! I love it!” Victoria said while filming another Instagram Stories clip, showing off her look in the mirror.
Another video showed David putting on his suit while the family dog, Simba, jumped up at him. “I’m in!” the athlete joked after buttoning up his pants.
“Look at this little number,” he added while putting on the vest and then playfully acting surprised as he thought it had ripped.
“Still fits him too!!” Victoria wrote with a laughing emoji.
“Nailed it! I think purple really is our color!” the Spice Girls singer captioned another selfie of the couple wearing their outfits on her Instagram Stories. She even reshared a photo from their son Cruz, who sported his dad’s suit.
“The suit fits me,” Cruz wrote with two winking emojis and wished his parents a happy anniversary. “We love you, Cruzie!!” his mom responded.
In the original wedding photos from 25 years ago, Victoria had her hair short. This time, she wore her brown hair loose and wavy in the new pictures, adding a pair of silver stilettos to complete her look.
The couple shared the photos on Wednesday, captioning them, “Look what we found…”
On their actual wedding day, Victoria wore a stunning champagne ball gown designed by Vera Wang.
Back in October, Wang recalled how the dress had to make several trips between London and New York. “I call it the transatlantic dress,” she said. “That bodice flew back and forth four times on the Concorde. The actual under bodice was made by a very famous couture corsetiere named Mister Pearl, who works only out of London.”
Wang added, “I could not live with that because I need to be comfortable. But Victoria did.”
