The “Karma” singer paused her performance over the weekend to address hecklers
JoJo Siwa decided to not wait for “Karma” to play out this time around.
The pop star, 21, briefly paused her set at Trixie Mattel’s Pride Disco show at New York City’ Central Park (as part of her Solid Pink Disco Pride Tour) over the weekend to address hecklers in the crowd after she was booed.
“Who the living f—k just booed me? Where the f—k did that come from? Which one of you?” the Dance Moms alum asked on Saturday, June 29, as she paced around the stage, per a video shared to X (formerly Twitter).
Siwa then grabbed a handmade sign from fans in the audience, before doubling down: “Respectfully, f— you!”
Moments later, another audience member launched a bouquet of flowers at the “Karma” singer, and she picked them up off the stage.
“Aw, this is sweet,” Siwa said, before giving the flowers a kiss, holding one with her teeth, placing it in her shorts and touching her genital area while jokingly sticking her tongue out. Siwa then threw her arms in the air, before announcing: “F— the booers, somebody just chucked a bra at me!”
The musician’s gig in New York comes just a week after her performance at Chicago Pride Fest on Saturday, June 22, where she set a new record for the biggest audience in attendance at the event. She later called the performance “unreal” in an Instagram caption.
“I found out I set the record for most people in attendance at Chicago Pride at 2 a f—ing clock in the afternoon… THAT IS NUTTY,” she wrote.
“You all really did that, showed up and had the best time with me,” the singer added. “I saw you all with your posters, ur F—IN KARMA MAKEUP YOU ICONS, some construction vests, some JOJO BOWS, f—ing epic. Best f—ing time I love you THANK YOU.”
Siwa previously set records at Miami Beach Pride in April, when PinkNews and event organizers reported that she commanded a record-setting crowd of over 50,000 people. “First live performance in over 2 years…. Broke the record for Miami pride attendance for a performance with a effing 50,000 of you in the crowd. My biggest audience ever as well,” she wrote at the time.
“Miami THANK YOU for giving me the safe space to have this first performance. I’ll remember this day forever.”
Siwa’s record-setting performances come amid her 21st birthday celebrations a couple months back, when the musician enjoyed some fun-filled activities at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
After “drinking around the world” at the Florida theme park, she wrote on Instagram that her birthday was “a f—in smash.👊🏼”
“Believe it or not I remember most of the day… and I remember having the best time with some of my favorite people. No place I’d rather have been. I’d give anything to relive this day again,” Siwa captioned an Instagram post. “Stay tuned for tomorrow… sharing my videos…🍻🍹🍸🥂🥃🍷🍾”
