Charlie Sheen’s Ex Under Scrutiny in Matthew Perry Case: Authorities Investigate Multiple Suspects

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, is reportedly being questioned by the police regarding the tragic death of beloved Friends star, Matthew Perry.

An Ongoing Investigation into Matthew Perry’s Passing

Matthew Perry, known for his iconic role in Friends, tragically passed away last October at the age of 54. He was found unresponsive in his Los Angeles home. Two months later, the LA County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled his death as accidental, citing ‘acute effects of ketamine’ along with contributing factors like ‘drowning, coronary artery disease, and the opioid buprenorphine’.

Despite the determination of an accidental death, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) continue their joint criminal investigation. They aim to uncover how Perry acquired the drugs found in his system.

It’s known that Perry was undergoing ketamine infusion therapy for anxiety and depression, a treatment he had discussed publicly. However, Perry’s last infusion occurred over a week before his death, implying the ketamine present in his body was unrelated to this recent medical procedure.

In a statement, the LAPD clarified: “Based on the medical examiner’s findings, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the United States Postal Inspection Service, has continued its investigation into the circumstances of Mr Perry’s death.”

Sources indicate that an unidentified woman faced multiple interviews as part of this ongoing investigation. When police executed a search warrant at Perry’s residence, she was out exercising but fully cooperated upon her return. Law enforcement seized an iPhone and a computer from her room for further investigation. It has been reported that she had met Perry in rehab and they formed an ‘unexpected relationship’.

In the wake of these events, reports suggest ‘multiple people’ could potentially be charged in connection to Perry’s death. One individual, Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, has undergone several rounds of questioning by the authorities.

Brooke Mueller was married to Sheen from 2008 to 2011, and they share twin boys, Bob and Max. According to insiders, she has since hired attorneys and participated in multiple meetings with law enforcement at her sober living house. Brooke is reported to be tight-lipped about the case but maintains her innocence, asserting she had nothing to do with Perry’s death.

As the investigation continues, more light may be shed on the circumstances surrounding the actor’s untimely demise. Meanwhile, many fans remember Matthew Perry fondly for his wit, humor, and the joy he brought to so many through his role on Friends. His legacy continues to live on in the hearts of his admirers.
