In a statement, the LAPD clarified: “Based on the medical examiner’s findings, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the United States Postal Inspection Service, has continued its investigation into the circumstances of Mr Perry’s death.”
Sources indicate that an unidentified woman faced multiple interviews as part of this ongoing investigation. When police executed a search warrant at Perry’s residence, she was out exercising but fully cooperated upon her return. Law enforcement seized an iPhone and a computer from her room for further investigation. It has been reported that she had met Perry in rehab and they formed an ‘unexpected relationship’.
