Back in November, the talented “Doo Wop” singer had to postpone the remaining dates of her 25th-anniversary tour due to vocal issues. Hill shared on Instagram that her battle with serious vocal strain required medical treatment with prednisone, a medication she wished to discontinue for her long-term health. Thus, she needed to take time off to properly recover her voice.
In May, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, her legendary album, topped Apple Music’s list of the 100 best albums of all time. Released in 1998, this Grammy-winning album surpassed other renowned records like Beyoncé’s Lemonade, The Beatles’ Abbey Road, Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and many more.
