The singer has been enjoying a trip abroad without husband Ben Affleck amid marital strain.
Jennifer Lopez is living la dolce vita on her Italy vacation!
The Atlas star, 54, was photographed lounging topside on a boat on the Mediterranean with friends on Thursday. The group navigated a rocky seaside pathway to board a small dinghy and be transported to the larger vessel, where they hung out taking photos and soaking up the sun in their swimwear.
Lopez sported a white one-piece swimsuit, matching heels, and gold accessories and carried a small, woven tote. On board, she perched atop the seats snapping selfies and throwing her hands in the air as her companions danced.
Lopez is taking time “to be with her children, family and close friends,” Live Nation announced on May 31 when she canceled her planned concert tour amid what sources have called strain in her marriage to Ben Affleck. A source previously said that the “Can’t Get Enough” singer had been making plans for her summer travel.
Affleck is currently in Los Angeles with his children while filming The Accountant 2.
Photos of the star’s latest day at sea come after she was seen enjoying a similar outing, catching some rays aboard a boat on Tuesday, June 18, and showing off her abs in a cream-colored bandeau top, coordinating shorts and gold heels.
Lopez is a longtime fan of Italy and has visited numerous times over the years, including on her 2022 honeymoon with the Argo director to Milan and Lake Como. The pair also celebrated Lopez’s 52nd birthday in 2021 on a yacht off the Amalfi Coast.
“When I finally went to spend a couple of summers in a row in the south of Italy, I really, really loved it,” she shared in a 2023 interview with Travel + Leisure, adding that while her MO has typically “always been work, work, work,” her trips to Italy changed her mindset. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, is this what I’ve been missing my whole life,’” she joked.
Her latest Mediterranean sojourn comes amid speculation about difficulties in her marriage to Affleck. The couple, who rekindled their romance in 2021 and got engaged for the second time in April 2022, wed in Las Vegas that July. They later celebrated their union with family and friends at Affleck’s Georgia compound.
Rumors of tensions surfaced this spring as the pair were not photographed together for an extended period. On June 13, it was confirmed that they had quietly listed the $61 million Beverly Hills mansion they purchased together in 2023. Sources later confirmed that Affleck has been staying in a rented home nearby.
They’ve been showing a united front while celebrating family events, including the recent graduations of two of Affleck’s children: Samuel, 12, and Violet, 18, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52. The exes are also parents to Seraphina, 15. The actor is stepdad to Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex Marc Anthony.
