The rapper, 37, shared a series of photos on Instagram on Sunday, June 16, as he celebrated Father’s Day with his son Adonis and his dad Dennis. In one photo, all three wore cowboy hats and posed in a field, with the 6-year-old standing in between his dad and his grandfather, wearing a black hat and a black leather vest.
Another photo showed the three cheesing for a selfie, with Adonis baring his teeth and Drake sweetly smiling for the picture.
“Three generations 💘 Happy Fathers Day to the ones guiding their daughters and sons,” Drake wrote in his caption.
The “Hotline Bling” rapper shares his son with French artist Sophie Brussaux.
For Christmas this year, Drake shared a special moment from his holiday celebrations on Instagram, posing with his mom, Sandi Graham, and Adonis. The three generations posed together next to a Christmas tree.
“Gifted you things with and without barcodes, gave with every fiber of my soul, Gia stones that glowed and Chanel flaps that overflowed, I even gave you the tools to avoid reaping what you sowed…but somehow different stories are being told on road,” he captioned the shot.
In October, the rapper celebrated his son Adonis’ sixth birthday by releasing the child’s first rap song and video on his Instagram. In the video, Adonis wears a basketball jersey and raps while shooting hoops with his friends and drawing on a whiteboard. Drake even pops up in the video for a cameo.
“Happy birthday my son…MY MAN FREESTYLE OUT NOW,” Drake wrote in his Instagram caption.
The proud father also shared a video on his Instagram Story of his son’s first live performance. Drake could be heard screaming and cheering for his son as Adonis rapped his single, writing “Dialed in” across the photo.
