Close friends of Ben Affleck are expressing concern that he may have resumed drinking amidst a whirlwind of speculation about his marriage to Jennifer Lopez potentially heading for a divorce.
Reports have surfaced stating that the Argo star has moved out of the $61 million mansion he shares with J-Lo. Adding to the tension, Jennifer recently canceled her planned tour of North America, citing her desire to spend more time with family.

“I hear that he is drinking. He is full of demons – a really troubled person,” one friend told the Daily Mail. Another noted, “I have seen him looking glassy-eyed, and it’s a real worry to everyone who cares about him.”
Recent reports indicate that Ben has moved out of their Beverly Hills home and is staying at a rental property while he works on The Accountant 2. During this period, Ben has been spotted without his wedding ring, further intensifying the breakup rumors. Additionally, the news that the couple is putting their marital home up for sale has only added more fuel to the fire.
PEOPLE Magazine cited a source explaining that neither Ben nor Jennifer has been happy with the house, offering reasons to sell that don’t necessarily relate to their relationship status.
The source, reportedly close to Jennifer, stated, “Ben never liked the house. It’s too far away from his kids.” Regarding Jennifer, they added, “The house is way too big for her.”
Affleck and Lopez secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2022, nearly 20 years after their first romance attempt ended. The couple, who were one of the high-profile pairings of the early 2000s, previously called off their engagement before reuniting years later.
