Flavor Flav ordered everything off of the Red Lobster menu in an attempt to save the chain, which recently filed for bankruptcy

“Ya boy meant it when I said I was gonna do anything and everything to help,” the rapper posted

Not all heroes wear capes — some wear clock necklaces!

Flavor Flav is doing his part to save Red Lobster and its beloved Cheddar Bay Biscuits after the chain filed for bankruptcy in May.

On Monday, June 3, the hip-hop legend, 65, revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that he had visited a Red Lobster location and, in an effort to keep the biscuits around, made a huge purchase.

Alongside a photo of himself and two tables full of food — everything from chips and calamari to the chain’s titular crustacean — the rapper wrote, “Ya boy meant it when I said I was gonna do anything and everything to help @redlobster and save the cheddar bay biscuits.”

“Ordered the whole menu,” he added.

In an Instagram post containing the same photo, Flav revealed that he didn’t enjoy that many menu items all by himself — he brought his whole family to dine with him.

One of the musician’s daughters, Dazyna, hinted that she was there — and amplified her dad’s goal by sharing Flav’s post on her own Instagram account. “Save the biscuits!!!!” she wrote.

Flav’s attempt at helping Red Lobster comes after the company, which is known for its iconic biscuits and endless shrimp deal, filed for bankruptcy amid growing debt.

A May 19 court filing — which came just days after the chain shut dozens of restaurants — stated that the chain filed for voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Florida, according to the Associated Press.

In a statement shared the day of the filing, Red Lobster said it would “drive operational improvements, simplify the business through a reduction in locations, and pursue a sale of substantially all of its assets as a going concern.”

The statement said the restaurant chain “has entered into a stalking horse purchase agreement pursuant to which Red Lobster will sell its business to an entity formed and controlled by its existing term lenders.”

“This restructuring is the best path forward for Red Lobster,” CEO Jonathan Tibus said at the time. “It allows us to address several financial and operational challenges and emerge stronger and re-focused on our growth.”

“The support we’ve received from our lenders and vendors will help ensure that we can complete the sale process quickly and efficiently while remaining focused on our employees and guests,” he added.

Flav’s valiant effort to save Red Lobster (and its biscuits) is just one example of the artist’s passionate personality.

The Public Enemy rapper has been an outspoken supporter of artists like Taylor Swift and Jelly Roll and, more recently, showed some love to the U.S. women’s water polo team.

After a member of the team, Maggie Steffens, shared that she and other players need financial help — and are working multiple jobs — getting to the Paris Olympics, the music icon offered his assistance.

On Steffens’ Instagram post asking for help, Flav wrote, “AYYY YOOO,,, as a girl dad and supporter of all women’s sports – imma personally sponsor you my girl,,, whatever you need. And imma sponsor the whole team.”

“My manager is in touch with your agent and imma use all my relationships and resources to help all y’all even more,” he added. “That’s a FLAVOR FLAV promise.”
