The couple’s newest addition joins big brother Parker, 2
Drew Scott and Linda Phan are overjoyed to share that they are now parents of two!
The beloved HGTV star, 46, and his wife, 39, welcomed their second child, a beautiful daughter named Piper Rae, on Tuesday, May 21. They joyfully shared the news on their website and delighted fans with a few precious photos on Instagram.
“We are over the moon,” Drew expressed on his joint site with his twin brother Jonathan Scott. “Piper is in great health, Linda is doing well, and seeing Parker’s excitement about becoming a big brother is the sweetest thing.”
“Parker is curious, helpful, and maybe feeling a tad jealous,” the proud dad said of their 2-year-old son. “We gave him his own baby doll so he can play daddy while we care for our new little one.”
As seasoned parents, Drew and Linda are adjusting to having a daughter along with their son.
“It’s actually quite amusing because I get mixed advice about raising a girl,” Drew said with a chuckle. “Some say it’s a dream, while others warn me to be prepared. All I know is I’m thrilled about the journey ahead with Piper.”
On Instagram, Drew introduced his baby girl to the world with a heartwarming photo of her tiny foot. “Our family of three has become four! Piper Rae, I love you with all my heart,” he wrote, brimming with love.
The couple first announced their exciting news in a charming joint Instagram post back in January.
“Round 2,” they captioned the sweet photo showing Parker touching Linda’s growing belly. “I hope Parker’s ready for a little company,” they added with hearts full of joy.
Shortly after their announcement, Drew shared some details at the Environmental Media Awards Gala in Los Angeles. He shared their elation about expanding their family.
“We are super excited. Linda is already an amazing mom,” Drew said.
He also can’t wait to see their toddler son step into his new role.
“I love seeing Linda as a mom, and having a couple of kids running around sounds amazing. I grew up with siblings, so it’s wonderful that Parker will have a sibling too,” he said warmly.
